When we are saved, we are not saved to become a member of a church. There is a battle going on for control of the earth. This battle started when Adam and Eve, who were given dominion of the earth by God (Gen. 1:28), gave over that dominion authority to Satan. God’s strategy to win back the earth was to sacrifice His own Son Jesus Christ to pay the wages of man’s sin (Rom. 6:23) so that the Holy Spirit could be released to dwell in those who would surrender to the lordship of Jesus Christ and thereby be empowered to take back control of the earth from the enemy’s hands.

When we are saved, we become soldiers in the army of the Lord to win back territory for the Lord wherever He has placed us. Church is the boot camp where you are trained and equipped for the battle and where you get refreshed to go back onto the battle field. If Christians could get this mindset then we would be a powerful force to contend with!! Oh, for revelation to come to the Body of Christ!! Truly, God’s people are destroyed for lack of knowledge! (Hos. 4:6).

Right now, the enemy has the upper hand in the earth because Christians do not understand the purpose for our salvation!! We were not saved to go to heaven but to bring heaven on earth. We are the activators of the covenant blessings of God in the earth. We do this by appropriating God’s covenant promises through intercessory prayer (2 Chron. 7:14). We have the legal right to do this if we are walking in righteousness (Ps. 84:11). God’s hands are tied from doing anything in the earth without our action. God is depending on us to understand and to take up our full role and responsibility as His army, under the great Commander-in-Chief, Christ Jesus, to bring His kingdom on earth.

Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. (Matt. 6:10)

I am sounding the alarm for the army of the Lord to arise!! “For the earnest expectation of the creation eagerly waits for the revealing of the sons of God” (Rom. 8:19). “For we know that the whole creation groans and labors with birth pangs together until now. Not only that, but we also who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, eagerly waiting for the adoption, the redemption of our body. For we were saved in this hope, (Rom. 8: 22-24a).

“Where is the remnant”, says the Lord God, “the remnant who know their God and will be strong and do exploits on my behalf?”

Shalom
